Reservations are Always Recommended for Camping to Avoid Disappointment
Our main location in Omer fills up quickly during weekends in July and August.
We do not reserve specific sites, instead, campsites are selected upon arrival.
First come, first served with regards to specific campsites.
For groups that are camping together, we recommend early arrivals hold camping spaces for the rest of their group.
Due to limited camping space, river reservations are needed as well during weekends in July and August.
We have two locations, our main location in Omer and our Crystal Creek Campground.
Both locations offer the following:
Flush toilets
Shower facilities
Laundry
Electricity (most sites)
Picnic tables
Fire pits
Grills (some sites)
Volleyball courts
Party store
Artesian wells
Dogs welcome *
We do charge $5 per night per dog. We ask that owners keep their dogs on a leash at all times and that they pick up after them. These rules are to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.
We are often asked what the difference is between our locations and which one is best.
It is difficult to say which one is “best” due to the fact that we have customers that prefer both locations.
Both campgrounds are unique.
Main location in Omer
Our main location is actually much smaller than Crystal Creek Campground. With the exception of our 1.5 hr. tubing trip, all rental trips end at our main location in Omer. There are 30 campsites, and with the exception of one, all are located on the river. It is located right in the small town of Omer and is not wooded. It is difficult to get a feel for the campground if just driving through the area. It needs to be walked as most sites slope towards the river. It is located 7 miles outside of Standish a short drive off of US-23.

Crystal Creek Campground
Our Crystal Creek Campground is approximately 6 times as large as our main location in Omer. There we have 120 campsites. Some areas of the campground are more wooded than others. Most of the campground does have electricity. In fact, there are two distinctive features of Crystal Creek. First, it is divided by Grove Rd. There is also a large hill on the store side of the campground and a smaller hill across the road as well. Crystal creek runs through the store-side of the campground. Our 4-5 hr. canoeing/kayaking trip leaves from Crystal Creek. It is also an ideal camping location for those considering one of our three two-day trips. While camping is also available during the week throughout the summer, the Crystal Creek store is only open Friday through Sunday. For those wishing not to drive after a long day on the river, we do provide busing service for $6 per person round trip to and from Crystal Creek on busy Saturdays. The bus back to Crystal Creek from our main location in Omer departs at 4, 5, and 6 PM – or earlier if we have a full bus. In general, Crystal Creek is more wooded and popular with larger groups. Crystal Creek Campground is located approximately 7 miles outside of Standish off of Grove Rd., a few miles past Standish-Sterling High School near Pinnacle Bridge.
