Our employee of the week this week is Gage Little. This is Gage’s third year summer working for Russell Canoe Livery. He is an incoming senior at Standish-Sterling Central High School. Gage has changed quite a bit over the last few years. It used to be difficult to get even a couple of words out of him, but now we have all been able to get to know him a bit better.
This spring, Gage, along with local farmer and former Russell Canoe Livery employee Scott Suszko, helped Bob and Garrett Russell clean up after the massive ice damage at Crystal Creek. He played a crucial role in getting the campground back up and running. On weekends, Gage can be found driving customers to their departure points, helping customers off the river, and even filling in for security at our main location in Omer.
